Pit Stop (2021)

495 × 470 × 241 cm
Spatial Installation

The title refers to the artist’s reconstruction and reorganisation of the gallery space in which she has settled. In the process of filling the void, she followed her own rules, intuition and architectural definitions of the occupied room. She has built a three-dimensional abstraction that created a vibrant atmosphere. The focus point of the whole installation was the interactive monumental body that has lived under specific light and colour conditions. Nevertheless, it was in constant interaction with the viewer’s movement. The seemingly simple and clean formation of the space has allowed the visitor various entrances, readings and experiences, due to which the whole installation gained in complexity.
